I've always loved computers, how they function and how they look fascinated me since I was a toddler. My father would usually show me how he repairs broken computers, elaborating its hardware so I could understand at the mere age of 6. He would also teach me how to use one, showing me useful programs and whatnot. The first thing he ever taught me was how to download a pirated movie and burn it on a disc lol. My parents would let me only 1 hour a day on the computer, and at first I wasn't happy with this idea, but as I grew older I understood perfectly why they did so.
I self study programming languages and computer science as a whole using some books that I got from my local library(and some online manuals I got from a private torrent website). They're really impressive to read. I plan on advancing my computer programming skills in other languages after I get better at C and Pascal. I know HTML/CSS pretty good and I'm having lots of fun with it(no, I don't plan on learning JavaScript).
If you're a programmer(or soon to be) reading this, remember, the most important thing about coding is exercise, explore and experiment.
(this gif of tux is my favourite, why is he so adorable?)
I really like the Packard Bell computers from the 90s, they look funky. Also the Amiga 3000, HP Z820 and Panasonic Toughbook FZ 40 (pure engineering masterpiece)
Spam with pix of computers incoming!!!
Id Software developing Quake (probably one of my favourite video game companies)(fun fact, John Carmack is probably my role model. He's a sweet, down to earth guy and such a great programmer)(another role model of mine is Margaret Hamilton, the woman that worked on Apollo 11, not the actress lol)
